Branded tubs sold in Singapore showrooms often cost more than S$1,000. In a 2024 round-up of tubs for HDB bathrooms, Home & Decor listed compact soaking tubs at around S$1,050–S$1,260 and a designer round tub at S$3,490.

Installation
A built-in tub is where most of the cost is. Money Bees gives these ranges for one HDB bathroom:

Qanvast's rougher estimate for installing a tub in most HDB flats, including simple hacking and labour, is S$1,500–S$1,800 and up, before the tub and materials.
Why a freestanding tub can cost less in total
A freestanding tub stands on your existing floor and drains into the floor trap, so there is usually no hacking, new waterproofing or retiling. You pay for the tub, a tap and a plumber to connect it. Costs people forget
- The tap: most tubs, including most of ours, come without one. A freestanding tub needs a floor-standing or wall-mounted tap.
- Getting it in: a long tub may not fit in a lift or round a tight corner. Measure first.
- Hot water: a large or deep tub may need a bigger water heater.
- GST: check whether a quote includes the 9% GST.
