Rectangular freestanding bathtubs
Straight sides sit neatly against a wall or in a corner, so a rectangular freestanding tub is a good way to replace an old built-in bath without hacking. We have 7 rectangular and rounded-rectangle tubs, from 1000 to 1800 mm long.

Replacing an old built-in tub
Measure the old alcove. A freestanding tub needs a little space around it for cleaning, and the existing floor trap for its drain.
Backrest
Choose a sloped backrest at one end, or a double-ended tub with a slope at both ends so two people can sit facing each other.
Safety
The tub with grab bars is easier to get in and out of for older family members.
Questions
Can a freestanding tub go against the wall?
Yes. Rectangular tubs are made for it. Leave a small gap if you want to clean behind the tub.
Not sure which tub fits?
Send us your bathroom measurements and a photo on WhatsApp and we'll suggest a tub. Looking for a size or colour we don't list? Ask for a custom bathtub quote.
