How to choose
Acrylic or solid surface?
Acrylic tubs are light and the most affordable. Our premium solid surface (stone resin) tubs have a matte finish where light scratches can be buffed out, and they are heavier.
Centre or end drain
Many oval tubs have a centre drain, so both ends are the same and you can lie either way. Check where your floor trap is before you choose.
Width
Wide ovals (800 mm and more) are roomier but need more floor space and a wider door on the way in.
Questions
Do oval tubs need a tiled surround?
No. A freestanding tub stands on its own feet or base on the finished floor. It needs a floor trap for the drain and a tap.
